As a member / resident of Shri Marigold, what improvements would you like to see in your very own Shri Marigold?

An additional gate close to D or E wing will help everyone reach home faster. It can be a small walkin gate for members only, manned by a security guard of one of the wings ensuring that security is not sacraficed.

Sidharth - Your point of raising a gate close to D & E wing needs the approval of General Body. You may raise this issue in the next AGM.

1. Look forward to harness alternate sources of energy, although the proposal got rejected in the AGM of 18th Jan.
2. Liaise with BMC to plan ahead so as to minimise the road diggings for various pipelines. Every year we have the same situation where the roads on either side get dug. This time unfortunately it's on both the sides. The continuous noise emanating from the heavy machineries deployed is quite annoying for the residents.
3. Identify and limit down the number of various service providers to provide their services at pre-negotiated rates. As for example pest control, car servicings, water purifiers, paintings of houses etc.

Dear Mr. Sravan,

1. I am certain majority of marigoldians like you would support harnessing non -polluting alternate source of energy. For eg. Mr. Johnson from E wing is keen on using solar energy for heating the water to save electricity. I think, Managing Committee (MC)can still go ahead with some of the projects without the AGM's approval, if the expenditure is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum.

2. Instead of waiting for the MC to act, I suggest the affeceted members can register online complaints on BMC's website http://www.mcgm.gov.in/. many complaints from citizens should push BMC to take action.

3. Good idea, but there is a possibility of misunderstanding from members. Would be better if members like you take the initiative and compile a list of good service providers, based on members' feedback.

It has been observed that stray dogs have started frequenting society too much.In night they are sleeping behind cars. This may prove hazardous to kids which play within society prmises.New security guards should be instructed to shoo away the dogs as much as possoble which they aren't doing much now.

There seems to be a lot of inconvenience to all the memebers of marigold, rather valley of flowers who enter from the main gate (A wing) coz of the road being dug up. The alternative path (the footpath) is completely dark, uneven and there are a lot of dogs around. If we can work out on putting some small lights throughout the footpath (from inside the complex itself - in front of A, B, C and D wings) till the time the road is repoened, it would be really great. Epecially for the elderly and kids. Request your take on the same.
